Srinagar, March 28: Frozen Rush 4, is the fourth edition of this organization’s flagship off-road snow racing event.
This year, the one-day races were held in Sonamarg on Sunday.
The event was supported by the Indian Army and sponsored by SKICC, USTRAA, Yokohama Tires and Cafe Liberty.
“We finally did it, after a two-year break with exceptional aplomb and a lot of excitement. As it was just one day of racing, we kept attendance limited. There were in total 50 races in several different categories,” said Ali Sajid (founder of Kashmir Off Road.
As promised, Kashmir Off Road put on an absolutely “high adrenaline” show with all the trained riders as participants. The makeshift race track consisted of tricky turns, big dives into the bowl, huge elevation changes and downright gnarly jumps. All the pilots fought for bragging rights to prove who was the best pilot.
“What a resounding event! I’m so happy. I’m super excited to have a younger female rider, Monisa Muneer (19), she managed the 9th fastest position. So without a doubt, our one-handed king, Sayer Abdullah (24-year-old right-hand amputee), it was a pleasure to see them go head-to-head among all the others. – said Farah Zaidi (Dir PR/co-founder Kashmir Off Road)
