In a bid to encourage youngsters towards sports and adventure, a “Frozen Rush 4” snow car racing event was launched in Srinagar on Thursday. Organized with the help of the Indian Army, the local government and an adventure sports company, the launching ceremony took place at the Sheri Kashmir International Conference Center (SKICC).
After the 2 year Covid break, hundreds of attendees turned out for the event.
Farah Zaidi, head of the event’s organizing committee, was quoted by news agency ANI as saying, “Basically, it’s a sport and a source of entertainment here. We continue to organize events with the help of the government and the local administration in order to give a platform to the young people of the valley.

In the Snow Off-Road Challenge held in four categories, riders will showcase their performance on the high terrain of Sonamarg’s snowy roads on March 26-27.
